Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane will not be in the lineup Saturday when his team faces the Washington Capitals.
It's a precautionary move with the veteran winger likely on the move ahead of Monday's trade deadline.
Coach Housley says Evander Kane will not play tonight. “Management thought it was the best decision moving forward and the best decision for Evander.”

Kane has tallied 20 goals and 20 assists through 61 games this year. He can become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
