Olofsson helped Timra get back into the top-level Swedish Hockey League for the first time since 2012-13.

He sat fifth among European skaters in NHL Central Scouting's midterm rankings, but slipped to No. 9 in the final edition.

The forward from Sundsvall, Sweden was named the best junior-aged player in the country's second division after he led all rookies in goals and points.

"Olofsson plays a smart, simple game, and does it at impressive top speeds," theScore's NHL prospect expert, Hannah Stuart, wrote about him in a recent mock draft. "He's dangerous with the puck, but is reliable in his own end as well."
