The New Jersey Devils won't be lacking goaltending options next season.
Eddie Lack signed a one-year, one-way contract worth $650,000 with the Devils, the club announced Saturday.
The veteran netminder was a pending unrestricted free agent.
He allowed 11 goals in four games after New Jersey acquired him from the Calgary Flames for Dalton Prout on Dec. 30.
Cory Schneider is under contract with the Devils for another four seasons at a cap hit of $6 million, and Keith Kinkaid has another year left on his deal at $1.25 million.
