Red Wings send Zadina to AHL

Filip Zadina's professional hockey career will begin in the American Hockey League.
The Detroit Red Wings assigned the sixth overall pick in June's draft to the Grand Rapids Griffins, the team announced on Sunday.
Zadina piled up 44 goals and 82 points with the QMJHL's Halifax Mooseheads last season.
