Montreal Canadiens forward Andrew Shaw was designated as a healthy scratch for Saturday's contest versus the Boston Bruins, head coach Claude Julien announced, according to the team.
Winger Charles Hudon took his place on the club's fourth line. The 24-year-old has managed three points in six games this season.
Shaw, meanwhile, has recorded one goal and one assist in seven games so far this season while playing just over 11 minutes per night.
