Brink is one of the most offensively gifted players in this year's draft with his tantalizing set of hands and natural point-producing instincts. He finished last season second in the USHL in goals, fourth in points, and third in points per game (1.58) while trailing only Alex Turcotte and Jack Hughes.
The Minnesota native isn't the most technically polished skater, but his tenacity on the puck generally makes up for it, and he can still move quickly.
He's undersized, but the NHL has never been friendlier to smaller players than it is right now, and Brink's upside is worth the gamble for the Flyers.
What they're saying
"He’s an elite passer with the patience, anticipation, and overall vision to make unique passes seem routine. I’ve seen him hover around the zone, waiting out options as defenses scramble to figure out what play he’s going to make. Brink has very impressive hands and a good shot, too, but what will get him to the pros is his ability to make plays. He competes and even killed penalties at the junior level." - The Athletic's Corey Pronman
