Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Vezina Trophy as the league's top goalie at Wednesday's NHL Awards.
Vasilevskiy edged out Ben Bishop of the Dallas Stars and Robin Lehner of the New York Islanders to earn the award - the first of his young career.
Injuries limited the 24-year-old to 53 games this past season, but Vasilevskiy still led the NHL with 39 wins. He also posted six shutouts along with a .925 save percentage and 2.40 goals-against average through the Lightning's historic regular season.
Vasilevskiy came third in Vezina voting in 2018, and he's the second Russian-born goalie to earn the award, joining two-time winner Sergei Bobrovsky.
