Unrestricted free-agent forward Richard Panik is expected to join the Washington Capitals on a four-year contract, reports TSN's Bob McKenzie.
Panik could earn "somewhere north" of $2.5 million annually, McKenzie adds.
The 28-year-old spent the 2018-19 season with the Arizona Coyotes, scoring 14 goals and finishing with 33 points in 75 contests.
Panik has 75 goals and 159 points in 410 career games.
