The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed defenseman Nathan Beaulieu to a one-year, $1-million contract, the team announced Monday.
Winnipeg acquired Beaulieu from the Buffalo Sabres in February. He recorded five points in 18 games following the trade.
The 26-year-old adds stability to a Jets blue line that lost Tyler Myers to the Vancouver Canucks in free agency.
Beaulieu is a former first-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens and is a veteran of 332 NHL games.
