The 23-year-old was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, but is nearing the end of his treatments and feeling better.
"They're going great," Lindblom said of his treatments, per The Athletic's Charlie O'Connor. "I don’t have a lot left. I’ll have it done soon. I can see the light in the tunnel right now, and I’m trying to enjoy my life after this. I can’t complain. People have it worse, and I’m happy to be where I am right now."
The Flyers said Lindblom won't play in games if and when the league finalizes its plans for resuming the season, according to Stephen Whyno of The Associated Press.
The Flyers selected Lindblom in the fifth round of the 2014 draft.
