Dale Hawerchuk has been forced to renew his battle against cancer.
The 57-year-old NHL legend rung the bell in April to signify the completion of his final round of chemotherapy. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer last August.
Hawerchuk stepped down as head coach of the OHL's Barrie Colts - who he led from 2010-19 - due to his diagnosis.
He racked up 1,409 points in 1,188 NHL games, most of which he spent with the original Winnipeg Jets and the Buffalo Sabres.
Hawerchuk was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001.
