The Philadelphia Flyers signed goaltender Brian Elliott to a one-year, $1.5-million contract extension, the club announced Saturday.
Elliott went 16-7-4 with a .899 save percentage and minus-8.02 goals saved above average across 31 games - 27 of which were starts - in 2019-20. He primarily served as phenom Carter Hart's backup.
The 35-year-old spent the last three seasons with the Flyers. He's played for five teams in his 13-year career.
