The Edmonton Oilers signed forward Kyle Turris to a two-year contract, the team announced Friday.
Turris' deal carries an average annual value of $1.65 million, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
The Nashville Predators bought out the remainder of Turris' four-year, $24-million contract. The 31-year-old has struggled offensively, collecting just 54 points in 117 games in the last two years.
Turris should slot in behind Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl on the Oilers' depth chart at center.
