The Edmonton Oilers signed forward Tyler Ennis to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday.

Ennis' new deal is worth $1 million, according to TSN's Frank Seravalli.

The Oilers acquired Ennis from the Ottawa Senators ahead of the trade deadline in February. The 31-year-old winger contributed two goals and four points in nine games with Edmonton during the regular season and added two points in three playoff contests.

In total, Ennis amassed 16 goals and 37 points across 70 games with the Senators and Oilers in 2019-20.

Edmonton has $4.9 million in projected cap space with a roster of 21, according to CapFriendly.
