Sabres sign Tobias Rieder to 1-year contract

The Buffalo Sabres have shored up their forward depth in free agency, signing Tobias Rieder to a one-year contract worth $700,000, according to theScore's John Matisz.
Rieder notched 10 points in 55 games with the Calgary Flames last season. The 27-year-old has suited up in 434 career games for the Arizona Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings, and Edmonton Oilers.
The Sabres haven't made any other signings since the free-agency window opened Friday.
