Benning joins Predators on 2-year, $2M deal

The Nashville Predators signed defenseman Matt Benning to a two-year, $2-million contract, the team announced Friday.
Benning's spent the past four years with the Edmonton Oilers, registering 61 points across 248 games.
The Predators also signed blue-liner Mark Borowiecki on Friday, strengthening their defensive depth.
