Canadiens sign Frolik to 1-year, $750K contract

The Montreal Canadiens have inked forward Michael Frolik to a one-year deal worth $750,000, the club announced Wednesday.
Frolik finished the 2019-20 season with the Buffalo Sabres, collecting one goal and three assists in 19 games. The Calgary Flames traded him to Buffalo for a fourth-round pick on Jan. 1.
The 32-year-old spent nearly five seasons with Calgary following stints with the Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Blackhawks, and Florida Panthers.
