Zibanejad reveals he previously tested positive for COVID-19
Mika Zibanejad explained Monday that he was previously delayed starting New York Rangers training camp because he tested positive for COVID-19.
The star forward made the revelation after skating with his teammates for a second straight practice Monday. Zibanejad said he feels good now, according to NHL.com's Dan Rosen.

Zibanejad is considered day-to-day. Rangers head coach David Quinn said Monday that Zibanejad is questionable for New York's season opener Thursday against the Islanders.
The 27-year-old Swede missed the majority of camp but joined the main group Sunday, according to USA Today's Vince Z. Mercogliano.
Zibanejad ranked fifth in the NHL last season with 41 goals, placed 12th with 75 points, and posted the fifth-highest average ice time among forwards at 21:38.
NHL teams do not have to disclose the names of those who test positive during training camp, but the league will do so on the teams' behalf during the regular season.
