Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask was ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's game against the New York Islanders with an upper-body injury, the team announced.
The 34-year-old finished the first period, turning aside all six shots he faced. It's unclear when he suffered the injury.
Rask was sidelined for the last few weeks, and he was making his return to the crease against the Islanders. He last appeared in a game on March 7.
Jaroslav Halak was in net to start the second period.
