Jets sign Adam Lowry to 5-year, $16.25M extension

The Winnipeg Jets signed forward Adam Lowry to a five-year contract extension with an average annual value of $3.25 million, the team announced.
Lowry, 28, has spent his entire seven-year career with the Jets since being selected by the club in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft. He has eight goals and 12 assists in 44 games this season.

Lowry's career-best statistical season came during the 2016-17 campaign, where he totaled 15 goals and 14 assists in 82 games.
