Toronto Maple Leafs netminder Erik Kallgren will make his first NHL start Tuesday against the Dallas Stars.

Kallgren made a relief appearance last week against the Arizona Coyotes. He's now being given a chance to take over as Petr Mrazek continues to struggle and Jack Campbell remains sidelined with a rib injury.

Kallgren, 25, was a seventh-round pick of the Arizona Coyotes in 2015. The Maple Leafs signed him to a two-year, two-way deal last May.
