An off-ice official was stretchered out of the arena Friday during Game 3 between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes after a pane of glass fell into the penalty box on him.
Home fans dislodged the glass by repeatedly hitting it shortly after the Bruins took a 3-1 lead in the second period.

"Our thoughts are with the NHL off-ice official who was injured," the Bruins said in a statement. "We are sending him our best wishes."
