The Buffalo Sabres traded forward Rasmus Asplund to the Nashville Predators for a 2025 seventh-rounder, the teams announced Friday.

Asplund, 25, has two goals and six assists in 27 games this season while averaging just over 11 minutes of ice time.

A pending restricted free agent with arbitration rights, Asplund carries a cap hit of $825,000.
