Sabres ship Rasmus Asplund to Predators

The Buffalo Sabres traded forward Rasmus Asplund to the Nashville Predators for a 2025 seventh-rounder, the teams announced Friday.
Asplund, 25, has two goals and six assists in 27 games this season while averaging just over 11 minutes of ice time.
A pending restricted free agent with arbitration rights, Asplund carries a cap hit of $825,000.
Asplund has 18 tallies and 31 helpers in 164 career matchups, all with the Sabres.
Buffalo selected him in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
