Panthers sign Kulikov to 1-year deal
The Florida Panthers signed defenseman Dmitry Kulikov to a one-year contract, the team announced Saturday.
His new deal is worth $1 million, according to CapFriendly.
Florida drafted Kulikov with the 14th overall pick in 2009. He spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Panthers before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres prior to the 2016-17 campaign.
Kulikov played the 2022-23 season between the Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins, totaling three goals and 13 assists in 67 games.
Pittsburgh acquired the 32-year-old from the Ducks at the trade deadline in exchange for forward Brock McGinn and a 2024 third-round pick.
Kulikov has amassed 214 points in 872 NHL games. He's also suited up for the Winnipeg Jets, New Jersey Devils, Edmonton Oilers, and Minnesota Wild.
