Tomas Kaberle signs with Kladno Knights
Defenseman Tomas Kaberle has signed with Kladno Knights of Czech Extraliga, according to the team's official website.
Kablerle appeared in ten games for Kladno during the NHL lockout, scoring two goals and four assists. He recorded only three points in ten games for the Montreal Canadiens once NHL play resumed.
Kaberle is believed to have chosen the Czech team over the KHL because he was given an out clause in his contract, allowing him the opportunity to return to the NHL should a team come knocking at some point this season.
