Oilers name six alternate captains
After naming Andrew Ference captain on Sept. 29, the Edmonton Oilers have decided to surround him with a plethora of assistants.
#Oilers have named Jordan Eberle, Sam Gagner, Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Nick Schultz and Ryan Smyth Assistant Captains.

The Oilers will now be represented by a variety of 'leaders', with almost one-third of the active roster being designated as letter-worthy.
