GIF: Carey Price robs Dave Bolland with insane glove save
Habs goaltender Carey Price ended the 2013 NHL season on a low note, while Dave Bolland ended the season by scoring the Stanley Cup winning goal for the Chicago Blackhawks. That counts as a high note, in our book.
The roles were reversed somewhat on a sequence in the first period of Tuesday night's NHL regular season opener between Price's Habs and Bolland's Leafs.
An errant pass from Mason Raymond was deflected off the skate one of Price's Montreal teammates. The puck ricocheted off of Price's pads and right into the slot where Bolland was waiting.
It was a ten-bell scoring chance. The hockey equivalent of a tap-in. But somehow Price got his glove on it:

What a save.
