Lindholm's parents in attendance for NHL debut with Hurricanes
Hurricanes web producer Michael Smith tweeted that Elias Lindholm's parents will be at PNC Arena for the rookie's NHL debut when Carolina opens its season against the Detroit Red Wings Friday.

Lindholm, drafted fifth overall in 2013, will wear No. 16, previously worn by Hurricanes' 2007 first-round pick Brandon Sutter.
