Seattle Kraken captain Jordan Eberle is expected to be out at least three months after undergoing pelvis surgery, the team announced Friday.
Eberle crashed hard into the boards Nov. 14 against the Chicago Blackhawks. He left the contest and has already missed three games due to the injury.
Eberle notched six goals and five assists in 17 contests before getting hurt. Seattle plucked Eberle from the New York Islanders in the 2021 expansion draft and named him captain in October prior to his fourth season with the club.
Eberle's in the first campaign of a two-year, $9.5-million contract extension signed in March.
The Kraken are sixth in the Pacific Division at 10-9-1.
