Kucherov day-to-day with undisclosed injury
Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov was unable to suit up for Saturday's contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs due to an undisclosed injury.
He's day-to-day. The Lightning don't play again until Dec. 5.
Kucherov didn't play the second period of Friday's win over the Nashville Predators but returned for the final frame.
The Lightning dressed 11 forwards and seven defensemen for the tilt against the Leafs. Kucherov typically occupies the right wing on the first line while spearheading the top power-play unit.
Tampa Bay is 22-8-6 without Kucherov in the lineup dating back to the 2021-22 season, according to Sportsnet Stats.
Kucherov entered Saturday tied for fifth in league scoring with 34 points in 22 games. He won his second Art Ross last season with a career-high 144 points.
