Jussi Jokinen admits he had 'extra motivation' against Hurricanes
The Carolina Hurricanes, who waived forward Jussi Jokinen and then retained some of his salary and cap-hit in order to trade him to Pittsburgh, were lit up by their former player on Tuesday night.
After the game, Jossi Jokinen was candid and admitted that he took some extra joy in helping to defeat his former club:
Just caught up with Jokinen, who said: "I won't even try to deny it. It's always extra motivation when you play against your former team."
