Blackhawks phenom Connor Bedard scored on the ensuing power play, but Yegor Sharangovich responded with a shorthanded marker for the Flames two minutes later.
The NHL suspended Pospisil for three games for boarding Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn in March. He was also ejected for cross-checking Boston Bruins veteran Brad Marchand in the face in February and tossed from a game in April for elbowing Winnipeg Jets rearguard Josh Morrissey.
The 25-year-old entered Monday's matchup with 10 goals, 36 points, and 160 penalty minutes in 104 career games.
