The Buffalo Sabres inked Jordan Greenway to a two-year contract worth $4 million annually, the team announced Wednesday.

Greenway was a pending unrestricted free agent whose current cap hit is $3 million, per PuckPedia.

The 6-foot-6, 231-pound winger was a candidate to be dealt before Friday's trade deadline. He's been limited by injuries this season but has three goals and five assists while averaging 15:57 of ice time over 26 games.

Greenway has been playing on the left side of the Sabres' second line alongside Dylan Cozens and Alex Tuch. He's in his second full campaign and third in total with Buffalo. The Sabres acquired him from the Minnesota Wild for a pair of picks in March 2023.

The American forward collected 10 tallies and 18 helpers across 67 contests in 2023-24. He spent five-plus seasons with the Wild, who drafted him 50th overall in 2015.
