Kraken trade Brandon Tanev to Jets

The Seattle Kraken dealt forward Brandon Tanev to the Winnipeg Jets for a second-round pick in 2027, the teams announced.
Tanev is a pending unrestricted free agent with a $3.5-million cap hit, per PuckPedia.
The 33-year-old has nine goals, eight assists, 91 blocked shots, and 122 hits this season while averaging 13:56 of ice time over 60 games.
He played his first four campaigns with the Jets before playing a pair with the Pittsburgh Penguins and parts of four with the Kraken.
