D Mike Commodore signs with KHL's Vladivostok
Veteran defenseman Mike Commodore has landed a job in Russia.
The 33-year attended Montreal Canadiens training camp after the lockout back in January, and scored two goals and two assists in 22 AHL games last season.
Drafted in the second round of the 1999 NHL Draft, Commodore scored 23 goals and 86 assists for the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Carolina Hurricanes, Ottawa Senators. Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Commodore's last NHL contract was bought out by the Blue Jackets, and he will be paid $1,141,667 by the club through the end of the 2014-15 NHL season.
