Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele is a game-time decision for Sunday's Game 7 against the St. Louis Blues, head coach Scott Arniel announced.
Scheifele sustained an undisclosed injury in Game 5. He was on the receiving end of big hits from Brayden Schenn and Radek Faksa in the first period, forcing him to leave the contest and miss Friday's Game 6.
The Blues cruised to a 5-2 victory and evened the series with Scheifele out of the lineup.
Scheifele anchors the Jets' top line and is a key piece of the club's top power-play unit. He notched a career-high 87 points in 82 outings this season and recorded six points against St. Louis before getting hurt.
Puck drop for the winner-take-all clash is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Sunday in Winnipeg.
