The Boston Bruins are the latest team to reveal their plans for Hockey Fights Cancer night at TD Garden. The Bruins organization will all be helping to bring attention to the night of awareness.
Bruins players will wear Hockey Fights Cancer decals on their helmets, as well as lavender tape on their sticks for the remainder of the month. Bruins coaches, management, and broadcasters will wear Hockey Fights Cancer ties. All remaining Bruins employees will wear lavender ribbons.
As well as wearing the lavender color, Bruins center Patrice Bergeron will host many children with cancer at Thursdays game against the San Jose Sharks.
All proceeds from the night will benefit the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care.
