Maple Leafs recall F Josh Leivo
Just a day after assigning him to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, the Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Josh Leivo to rejoin the team.
The move to bring back Leivo does not do much to calm the nerves of any Leafs fan worried about Joffrey Lupul's potential foot injury. Lupul blocked a shot in practice Thursday and had to be hobble off the ice before being taken for x-rays.
Leivo will travel with the team to Columbus for Friday night's game against the Blue Jackets.
Leafs have called back up Josh Leivo for their trip to Columbus. May need him if Lupul's injury is serious.
