The Minnesota Wild are trading center Frederick Gaudreau to the Seattle Kraken for a draft pick, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Minnesota will receive Seattle's fourth-round selection (No. 102) in the 2025 draft, according to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff.
Gaudreau recorded 18 goals and 19 assists while appearing in all 82 games last season, earning downballot votes for the Lady Byng Trophy.
The 32-year-old Quebec native has three years remaining on his deal at an annual average value of $2.1 million.
Seattle will be Gaudreau's fourth stop in his career, which also includes stints with the Nashville Predators (2016-19) and Pittsburgh Penguins (2020-21).
