The Calgary Flames signed restricted free-agent forward Morgan Frost to a two-year contract extension carrying an average annual value of $4.375 million, the team announced Thursday.

Calgary acquired Frost from the Philadelphia Flyers this past season, and he recorded 12 points in 32 games with the Flames. The 26-year-old has notched 147 points in 310 career contests after the Flyers drafted him 27th overall in 2017.

Frost will be a UFA when his new deal expires.

The Flames also re-signed RFAs Matt Coronato and Kevin Bahl this offseason. Calgary has approximately $15.4 million in cap space, according to PuckPedia, with Connor Zary the most important player still in need of a contract.
