Beagle (foot) has been given a qualifying offer of $577,500 by the Capitals.

Beagle broke his foot in the playoffs but is expected to be fully healed by the start of the season. He came on strong under Dale Hunter, especially in penalty killing, and is likely to negotiate a salary a bit higher than the figure originally offered by the Caps.
