Ducks name former GM Tambellini part-time pro scout
The Anaheim Ducks have added a former NHL general manager to their pro scouting staff.
The team announced late Wednesday night that former Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers general manager Steve Tambellini has been given a part-time pro scouting postion.
Tambellini served as Oilers G.M. from 2008-13, and worked in the Canucks front office from 1990-2008.
He was fired by the Oilers on August 14 and replaced by Craig MacTavish.
