Chicago Blackhawks C Michal Handzus is ready to rejoin his teammates after spending the better part of a month scratched with an upper body injury.
Handzus was placed on the injured reserve last week, retroactive to Oct. 25, after playing in nine games to start the season.
According to the Blackhawks official twitter account, Handzus will re-join the team in Vancouver prior to their Saturday night tilt with the Canucks, and could play during the five-game road trip the Blackhawks are on to end the month.
The 36-year old Handzus has one goal and two assists with the Blackhawks this season.
