Tomas Plekanec knows how to get Sidney Crosby off his game
The Montreal Canadiens beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 on Saturday, and managed to keep Sidney Crosby off the score sheet in the process.
The league's leading scorer was seen engaging in a bit of banter with Tomas Plekanec, and when asked about the exchange, the Montreal center told Dave Stubbs of the Gazette "I didn't say anything, he was talking all the time. I was just listening. I’m a good listener."
Plekanec added this on effective ways to play against Crosby.

#Habs Pleky: "When (Crosby is) running around, slashing guys, crosschecking guys, jumping guys from behind, you know he’s off his game" 2/2

Plekanec added "He's the best player in the world. You can shut him down for 58 minutes and he can kill you in the last two." Such was not the case in this game; despite four shots on goal, Crosby remained pointless for just the sixth time this season.
For his part, Plekanec scored Montreal's second goal, his seventh goal of the season.
