VIDEO: Rangers F Rick Nash scores sweet goal off textbook set breakout
When New York Rangers forward Rick Nash scored on Buffalo Sabres netminder Ryan Miller with a spectacular deke to open the scoring on Thursday night, he also completed what might have been the sweetest set-play of the season so far.
Check out the video:
That's a set breakout! A perfect stretch pass right down the gut from defenseman Ryan McDonaugh, a perfect neutral zone touch-pass from Derek Stepan, and then Rick Nash does the rest for his fifth of the season.
Just a clinical display from the Rangers.
