Vancouver Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev has emerged as an absolute stalwart on the penalty-kill this season. The young defender leads all Vancouver defenseman in short-handed ice-time this year, and the Canucks have scored as many goals as they've allowed in those minutes.

Tanev is producing extraordinary results in 4-on-5 situations this season but he's resorting to some rather unorthodox methods to accomplish it. 

Like in the second period of Friday night's game between the Phoenix Coyotes and the Vancouver Canucks when Chris Tanev did a spinning starfish to prevent a Martin Hanzal centering pass. Sportsnet Pacific play-by-play broadcaster John Shorthouse described it as a "break dancing move," which, yeah pretty much nails it:
