Bruins F Loui Eriksson sustained concussion Saturday
The Boston Bruins have confirmed that forward Loui Eriksson sustained a concussion when he was hit by Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik in the first period of Saturday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Eriksson's concussion will be his second head-injury of the year. The Swedish-born winger sustained a concussion and missed a couple of weeks of action as a result of a cheap shot from Buffalo Sabres enforcer John Scott in late October.
There's no established timeline for Eriksson's return at the moment, but at the very least he won't travel with the team for Sunday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
