GIF: Blackhawks G Antti Raanta loses helmet after run-in with Panthers F Hayes

There was a scary moment for the Chicago Blackhawks in the third period of Sunday night's game against the Florida Panthers. Former Blackhawks forward Jimmy Hayes was on a break, took a weak shot, and lost his balance as he went barreling into Blackhawks rookie netminder Antti Raanta. 

The impact removed Raanta's helmet clean from his head:

Raanta remained in the game and recorded the victory for the Blackhawks in relief of injured netminder Corey Crawford. Needless to say with Nikolai Khabibulin on the shelf, and Crawford sustaining a lower-body injury on Sunday: the Blackhawks really need their Finnish born rookie goaltender to stay healthy...
