VIDEO: Stamkos back on the ice a month after breaking leg
Lightning forward Steven Stamkos continues to impress with his speedy recovery from a broken leg.
Stamkos was on the ice doing stickhandling drills Saturday, less than five weeks after fracturing his right tibia in a game against the Bruins. He doesn't appear to have lost his ability to dangle the puck in tight spaces despite barely putting weight on his right leg.
Stamkos' expected return date is still two months away, but it's clear he would like to return much sooner if possible. No doubt Tampa Bay would like the same thing.
