Analysis:

Lecavalier was placed on IR on Dec. 9 and was expected to miss about three-to-four weeks. He is only about a week into that assessment, but it is a step in the right direction that he is back on the ice. There is not any information to currently think he will be back sooner, but it is worth watching how his recovery progresses if he can return early.
